President Lagarde’s speech at the UNEP FI Global Roundtable – 14 October 2020

In her remarks at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative Global Roundtable the President of the European Central Bank talked about the need for more green investments. Europe was already playing a key role in this area, especially in light of the Next Generation EU recovery plan. Central banks, too, had a role to play and the ECB will discuss what this role could look like as part of its strategy review.
